I don’t believe you ever lose money on flat rate. You lose on Flat rate until you learn and gain experience. It’s called the “School of hard knocks!” You should build a case with the manufacturers and tell them you won’t fix their garbage, and then have them explain to the customers why it won’t get fixed.

I wouldn’t worry about “upgrading” the pulley’s to these lightweight versions. Most aren’t balanced and you really don’t gain that much.

Jus take the starter out and the bottom bracket from the bottom u can see the sensor from there easy peezy 🧰🛠️💪🏿

Freeze the wear ring and bearings and get the whole housing up to about 200f. You'll gain a couple thou to help prevent damage. Especially to the bearings

I once crossed my battery cables and burned out 100 amp fuse, something like that anyway, it was a big one. So I could not charge the battery with boat motor alternator. The mercury dealer charge me $70 for that cable with the fuse in it. I want to auto parts store for something later and ran across the exact same thing at an auto parts got $10

I installed these same coils on my is350 …the advice on unloading the suspension is greatly taken …that’s the part I’m at in my build process rite now is just dialing them in exactly how I want them to sit …great set of coilovers though 10/10 …you made a great vid btw …only I found that actually had these coils and set them correctly

Its the torque that really gets our 2GR's moving!! I have embarrassed so many tuner Civics and Integra's its not funny. Mainly merging onto the freeway and taking off on them and listen to them trying to catch up 😆

Bleed through the bleeder screws only!!!

God that is not smart. NEVER RUN A MASTER CYLINDER DRY!!!If your going to flush the system don't do it if your only replacing a caliper.

Awesome job. Thank you. A note to others that may experience the same thing I did: the piston did retract as far I needed for the new brakes. GENTLY with a pry bar push the piston back in.

Is that special oil filter tool necessary to remove the cap? I guess I'll find out on my own shortly anyways Lol

I did it on a 2010 4cyclinder Hyundai Santa Fe. Same stuff EXCEPT the bottom bolt of the altunator comes out ok but the top bolt is blocked by the frame. You need to take the plastic undertray off. Then take a jack and place it under the AC mounting(NOT the oil pan). Slowly raise the engine and it will clear the frame. Then the alt slides off. Slide it off top first.

Do you know if these will fit the 2024???

I find if you take thermostat off and then remove from hose, it’s much easier.

Probably not the greatest idea at 1:05 to leave a ten pound starter motor hanging by the wires, especially if they are corroded.

Hi, this way you only replace 50% of the oil. the other 50% remains in the torque converter so this oil change is useless, it remains polluted.

Where did you get the new o rings? What was the model number

I tried replacing my starter, but I can't seen to figure out to remove the manifold,, it doesn't let me remove it, it so tight, I can't remove the studs

I just got a 2018 Chevy Trax LT runs great but with the air conditioner on sometimes it’s very sluggish on takeoff. I think I will try a higher octane to see if that helps. This issue is only when the AC is running and it’s not every single time on takeoff so I’m assuming it’s only when the compressor is on.

I have the 9inch as standard on my 2023 Camry. Here's hoping someone will post how to retrofit the upcoming MY24 Camrys newer units onto 2023 Camrys. Really want the updated tech. Wish it would be available as a dealer upgrade.

Question, if you go hard on it and you now have taken away the fusible link, the next area to wear out or break would be at the transfer case? I think they designed that to fail there instead of the case. Your thoughts.

Hey Stefan. Great video and thanks for taking the time to make it. Just want to clarify... you did not "Program" the tire pressure monitor, AKA TPMS Sensor. You registered the unique Sensor codes in the ecu. Programming is an all together different process. As is relearning which with Toyota products is done by using the TPMS reset button or driving the car or both.

I put Zerex Dex cool in my 2015 Grand Cherokee after Changing my Thermostat since I had it for my GM Vehicles and it didn’t mix well with the Mopar coolant, I got a Brownish sludge in the Overflow tank and under the Radiator cap. I flushed the System and put the Purple Mopar coolant back in and all is good now. I guess not all OAT coolant is compatible with each other.

Has Kia and Hyundai done anything to improve the reliability of these engines? I would expect that the Theta II should at least be as reliable as the original Theta was.

Less messy if you attach a short hose to the drains and direct the flow into a container. 🙂 The coolant reservoir lifts out easily, no need to use vacuum?

My 23 gladiator is doing the same with only 20k on it looks like I’ll be going with Adam’s drive shaft
